September 21 is the International Peace Day.
This is the International Peace Day declared by Kofi Annan in 1981, as a day of truce and ceasefire on the planet. Since then, the UN celebrates this day and stimulates not only think in peace, but do something in favor of it.

Peace must be built in the minds of women and men, based on human rights and dignity, through cooperation in education, science, culture, communication and information.
