This is the International Day of Peace declared by Kofi Annan in 1981, as a day of truce and ceasefire on the planet. Since then, the UN celebrates this day and stimulates not only think in peace, but do something in favor of it.
Although Brazil is a seemingly country without war, the Map of Violence 2014 presents a given alarming: Every day, 154 people died on average homicide victims in Brazil in 2012, 7% more than in 2011. The study concludes that Brazil ranks seventh in the ranking of violence.
