“Viola Lindeira Project” at the Fundação Museu do Futuro in Curitiba
Ricardo Denchuski (executive director), Crystian Fernandes (pedagogical director), Pablo Denchuski and Daniel de Souza, all musicians and members of the violin orchestra of Paraná, came to a performance at Sesc da Esquina in Curitiba on September 1st.
The group has already performed in Paris and are “ready-made” for Spain in the region of Galicia. The “Viola Lindeira Project”, with the support of Itaipu Binacional and the Viola Caipira Institute, has already trained more than 500 amateur and professional musicians in the municipalities bordering on Lake Itaipu, in less than two years.
The target audience are children and adolescents, between 6 and 17 years of age in vulnerable situation, who do the viola classes in the school counterturno.
The Viola Caipira Institute provides the musical instruments and classes are taught by experienced musicians from the Viola Caipira Orchestra of Assis Gurgacz College, located in Cascavel, recognized as one of the best in Brazil.
